AfTA

The
Association for Technical Analysis (AfTA) is recognized
as one of the nation's largest and most active
non-profit volunteer
organizations focusing on technical analysis
of securities for investment profits.
AfTA was
formed in 1993 and serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Its members include individual traders and investors along
with professional money managers.
Currently
AfTA has over 100 members which have a wide variety of
interests and time frames for their trading and investing
approach. Instruments of interest include stocks,
e-minis, FOREX, commodities, and mutual funds. Time
horizons include day trading, swing trading and long term
investing.
AfTA is
dedicated to providing members and the DFW trading/investing
community with current information and education on a wide
variety of technical analysis subjects.
We present
knowledgeable, nationally known speakers who give
interesting and informed presentations on their specific
areas of expertise.
You are
encouraged to meet and get to know the speakers through
their presentations and enter into discussions with them
during the informal Q&A session at the conclusion of each
meeting.
AfTA also
provides "Special Interest Groups" (SIGS) which go into
depth on various topics using local speakers with expertise
in their subjects.
Annual dues
provide members with the entire year's nine meetings for one
price. Members also receive early registration
privileges and discounts on special events.
Guests are
welcome at all meetings for a fee of $25.00.
